Descripción

El proyecto Nu Hotel surgió de discusiones informales entre Massimo Gao, un empresario chino, y los arquitectos milaneses Nisi Magnoni y Sabrina Gallini. Su objetivo era crear un hotel de arte. Ellos imaginaron un nuevo edificio no convencional, cuyos rasgos arquitectónicos, desde los planos de la habitación, la distribución de las zonas comunes, a la elección de los materiales utilizados, que se funden en un solo ambiente. El diseño llegó a la vida con un edificio existente en la Via Feltre. A parte de sus paredes exteriores, el resto del edificio se renovó. Se construyeron cinco pisos, incluyendo la terraza, diseñados para acoger el Restaurante NU, con 38 habitaciones, una sala de reuniones, un bar salón y un balcón con vistas al vestíbulo.
