Wine will soon have no more secrets for you!
Appointment is taken in a family estate located 15 minutes from Saint-Émilion where organic wines have been produced for five generations!
This oenological workshop will start in the heart of the vineyards, so that you can immediately get to know the daily life of the winegrower and understand the issues at stake: working the soil, the vine's vegetative cycle...
The workshop will naturally continue in the winery in order to approach the winemaking process and the associated know-how.
Your host will address the notion of terroir, including the characteristics of both sides of Bordeaux, the specificities of the grape varieties and their aromas. He will introduce you to the subtle art of wine tasting by offering you the opportunity to taste 4 wines from different vineyards (you will receive a menu and a booklet as teaching aids).
Finally, like a young oenologist, you will be given the opportunity to blend different Bordeaux grape varieties to create your own wine, using pipettes and test tubes, and take your cuvée away in the form of a personalised mini-bottle!
