Travel in comfort with an multi language speaking driver to reach the Phlegraean Fields, an area, well connected to the metropolis of Naples where places, people, traditions and local produce are an endless source of discovery. It is characterized by gentle hills, small lakes and what you can see today is the result of centuries of erosion of lowlyng craters by atmospheric agents.
Today as in the past visitors can experience the unique atmosphere of these fiery fields, so called by the Romans for their highly volcanic nature and for the fumaroles still spewing out gas and steam. First settled by the Greeks, it later became a pleasure dome for Roman emperors who built sumptuous villas set in luxuriant gardens and magnificant bathing complexes. There is still something unique about their culture, from local traditions to gastronomic specialities.
