Set sail for a lazy day exploring and swimming in the waters of some of the famous beaches on the island of Zakynthos. Enjoy the picturesque landscape whilst cruising along the coastline. The tour starts with the pick up from a pre-arranged location and then the transfer to the main port in Zakynthos Town. The boat will set sail from here heading to the north of the island. The first stop will be at Smugglers Cove, where the wreck of the ship "Panayiotis" can be seen and the chance for a wonderful swim in the lovely blue waters.
Contining on, the boat will sail to the famous Blue Caves, discovered in 1897. The names comes from the colour of the water, a mixture of aquamarine and turquoise. This area is also the deepest part of the Mediterranean called the "Well of Ionysos", which is about 4,500 metres deep. The final beach will be Makris Gialos, which is one of the smaller beaches on the island and is the perfect spot for swimming and snorkelling in a tranquil environment. Whilst here there will also be the opportunity to enjoy an a la carte lunch at a traditional Greek taverna.
After lunch it will be all aboard for the return to the port in Zakynthos Town. For the more adventurous at heart, there is also the possibility to customize the trip to individual tastes and ask the captain to anchor off other beaches that are seen during the day or even to ask him for further recommendations.
