Explore Munich the Segway way with an intriguing and exciting grand tour of the Bavarian capital. See sights and attractions such the Jewish Museum, Königsplatz, Odeonsplatz, the Chancellery, the Hofgarten and much more. The two-wheel Segway is easy to use and beginners will feel like veterans in no time.
Follow a trail from Munich’s humble origins around a salt route bridge on the River Isar to its rise as one of the wealthiest cities in Europe. The four-hour tour will be led by a native English-speaking guide with an insider’s knowledge of the city, taking you to all the main landmarks and a few the locals’ favourites. Feel free to ask as many questions as you like! Never ridden a segway before? No worries, the two-wheel Segway is easy to use and beginners will feel like veterans in no time!
Start at Karlplatz and follow the route to the monumental Königsplatz, where the Glyptothek and antique museum are located. See the nearby Pinakotheken and head to the Maximilianeum and see the Bavarian parliament. Experience the ‘real’ Munich at the Viktualienmarkt, the city’s most popular market. Wander the beautifully landscaped Englischer Garten and pause at the German Museum, the world's largest museum of science and technology.
Come face to face with the darkest chapter in Munich’s history at the Jewish Museum and see the golden Angel of Peace column. Pass the Victory Gate and pay homage to the heroes of the anti-Nazi resistance at Ludwig-Maximilians-University, where the White Rose movement members studied. Behold the historic Bavarian Chancellery on a tour of the royal avenues and squares that takes in the Hofgarten, Max-Joseph-Platz and Odeonsplatz.
