Detalles del programa

Enjoy a laid-back vibe coupled with unspoiled natural surroundings - from the geological architecture of Cathedral Cove, to the natural springs of Hot Water Beach, and the walking trails through majestic kauri forests. Where is it? The Coromandel Peninsul extends 85 km from the western end of the Bay of Plenty, forming a natural barrier to protect the Hauraki Gulf and the Firth of Thames from the Pacific Ocean. What do I need? Plenty of water, snacks and lunch, as there are no food outlets on the island. Good walking shoes, sun block and a sun hat. A light rain jacket, and warm layers. Temperatures can change quickly regardless of the season. This is a pest-free island. You must take all your rubbish, including leftover food, off the island with you.
