Embark on an unforgettable day with a ride on the Kuranda Scenic Railway and admire unparalleled views of the dense emerald green rainforest, steep craggy ravines and picturesque waterfalls as you wind through the World Heritage listed Barron Gorge National Park.



Arrive at the award-winning Rainforestation Nature Park, where nature and adventure combine to provide a variety of activites for you to enjoy. Hop on an amphibious World War II Army Duck for a unique rainforest tour on both land and water. Join a guided tour and see crocodiles, koalas, snakes, dingoes, a cassowary and the only Tasmanian Devils in North Queensland. Handfeed kangaroos and wallabies, and even cuddle a koala!



Follow the Dreamtime Walk for the Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience. Zig-za down the Rainbow Serpent pathway where you will learn how to throw a boomerang and watch in awe as the Pamagirri guides demonstrate traditional spear throwing techniques as well as providing you know know-how to play the didgeridoo, before putting on an interactive traditional Aboriginal dance performance.



Stroll through the largest flight aviary in Australia with over 2000 butterflies fluttering freely around you as you visit the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary and it’s Breeding Laboratory and learn about the life cycle of the butterfly.



Savour a mouth-watering BBQ buffet lunch overlooking the lake, as well as tropical salads, fruit and cheeses. Try juicy fresh fruit, juice and ice cream at the Tropical Fruit Orchard and learn about the 40 different species of exotic tropical fruit trees growing at the grounds.



Relax as you make your way back to Cairns, and soar like a bird as you head down the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, just metres above the rainforest canopy.
