Departure from the hotel on a walk to the Botanic Garden, located on the road to Cotoca, 8 kms and a half from the city, where it preserves and displays a great floristic and forest diversity of Santa Cruz.
With the purpose of conserving and exhibiting the great floristic, vegetal and animal diversity of Santa Cruz, the new Botanical Garden is projected as an ecological reference. The sub-humid plain forest and the seasonally flooded Chaco forest of Santa Cruz department, son of the great vegetable formations that converge in the garden of 187 hectares, and represent the great beauty of the Bolivian east. With an average temperature of 24.3 ° C and an average precipitation of 1,330 mm, it presents a period that begins from November to April and a dry season, from May to October.
Technical scientific research, the collection and taxonomic classification of specimens and the reproduction of unique species are factors that are developed to guarantee the enrichment and perpetuity of this privileged region. bComplementing the Garden, there are several attractions such as the panoramic viewpoint, the extensive gardens, the orchid and the ecological trails that are part of this beautiful Botanical Garden.
