Evening tour of Florence through elegant palaces and churches.
The tour begins near Palazzo Strozzi, inspired by the Palazzo Medici and remained the seat of the Strozzi family until 1937. Today the palace is used for international expositions, fashion shows and other cultural and artistic events. We will pass along the street Tornabuoni, characterized by the presence of fashion boutiques. Then we will see the most elegant palace of 15th-century in Florence - Palazzo Rucellai.
Passing through the Santa Maria Novella square, and the first great basilica in Florence, we will reach the Antinori Palace that is still property of the family, where two top floors are still occupied by a member of the family, Santa Maria Maggiore, medieval church that was originally constructed in the 11th century, Basilica of St. Lawrence - one of the largest churches of Florence, and the burial place of all the principal members of the Medici family from Cosimo il Vecchio to Cosimo III.
The tour continues near the house of the famous Benvenuto Cellini and ends at the central market, where you will taste a real Neapolitan pizza! After dinner, you can continue the evening among the colorful cafes and wine bars.
