A simple walk through the city is no longer enough. Explore each of its corners at your own pace from the your hotel stop or the nearest one, enjoying deeply those issues that are of your interest: music, theater, architecture, living cultures, cuisine, crafts, photography, shopping, tourist attractions and unique landscapes, but above all, to share the heritage of our people and unique experiences in our city, is the Gray Line proposal as your local expert .... Welcome to Quito City Explorer!
Each member of the Gray Line Team is a "Local Expert" in our destination, and a true representative of the cultural richness of the country, so we think that a native guide from our company would be irreplaceable by a pre-recorded audio system.
In 1 day: If you have little time, you can have a panoramic overview of the city without getting off the bus, starting and ending at the stop of your hotel or the nearest one, it takes about 4 hours. And if you have an extra time during the day, we recommend you also take the optional extension to the Equatorial Monument at 14:30 (Monday to Saturday).
If you have no time to enjoy the morning tour, we recommend taking the afternoon ( Monday to Saturday ) optional extension to the Middle of the World , and in the evening the night sightseeing tour of Quito starting at 18:30.
In 2 days: Spend the morning on a walk through the historic center of the city by hopping off at Plaza Grande, visit the inside of the Government Palace, the interior of La Compañia Church , and continue walking to the Plaza de San Francisco, after lunch, visit the La Casa del Alabado Museum, or walk back to the Plaza Grande, visit the shop El Quinde, or just enjoy the traditional street La Ronda.
The next day we recommend you tour the attractions of the northern part of the city, such as the vivarium or the Artisan market at La Mariscal, or have dinner at one of the many offerings at La Mariscal.
In 3 days: Plan a tour on the first day full day walking from the Historical Center Stop Nº Plaza Grande ending on the 24 de Mayo Boulevard stop visiting all possible tourist spots recommended in our guide, don´t forget to include the Traditional Artisan shops at La Ronda.
Meeting/pick-up point: The first stop of the route is at Vivarium, Parque La Carolina, however you can get on the bus at any of the stops on the route.
Duration: One day, two day or three day pass. Three day flexi pass does not have to be used on consecutive days, and is valid for a period of 15 days.
Start/opening time: Operates Monday to Saturday 8am to midnight. Sunday 2.15pm to midnight. Buses depart approximately every two hours.
Languages: English and Spanish.
