An intriguing city of modern, urban delight with historic traces, discover the essence of Seoul with this fascinating city tour. Find out how it is evolving and growing in the modern day and remember its traditional roots that can still be seen in amongst the glittering skyscrapers.

The first stop on our tour is the charming Bukchon Hanok village area, dating back to the Joseon Dynasty with countless hanoks (traditional Korean houses) and other historic sites. Nowadays it's considered one of the leading (and most loved) cultural places in Seoul.
After a quick break, we stroll over the Changdeokgung Palace, one of Seoul's Unesco World Cultural Heritage sites. The palace is famous for its unique, traditional Korean-style architecture and design which you will learn all about from your expert local guide.
Walk along Jongmyo (Royal Shrine) and meet local people at Kwang Jang Market, one of Seoul's best and most traditional markets. You can easily spend hours exploring the market, so our tour ends here so that you can wander and watch to your heart’s content. Your guide will of course give you tips on where to go in the market or if you are heading back into the city.
