Cruise along Route 104 that winds through the local farms and fields, leading us onto the important Route 9 to make it to our destination of the beautiful seaside resort, La Paloma. Let us guide you around this intriguing little resort, in the rural department of Rocha. Contemplate its sandy beaches and its stunning scenery.

This little exploration takes us to the entrance of Cabo Polonio, a small fishing village and natural paradise. Recognized for its sand dunes, large beaches and calming environment, the resort has recently become much loved by hippies, travelers and locals and is arguably the most popular place in Uruguay.

Hop onto a 4x4 vehicle and enjoy the thrill of exploring like a true adventurer. Our itinerary includes visiting the must see iconic places such as the lighthouse, a key figure to this little town as there are now many shipwrecked boats, leading to the construction of this important lighthouse in the 1880’s to guide them away from its naturally rocky coast. We’ll also mingle with the culture by observing local crafts, restaurants and by delving into its unique atmosphere.

Our last stop is La Pedrera, a rather slow and laid-back town that boasts a beautiful clifftop promenade and a culture of enjoying the simpler things in life. With a population of a little over 200 people, this place is really serene and relaxing. The perfect way to end this tour.
