Adelaide - Kangaroo Island
Today you will be transferred from your hotel to Adelaide Airport. Flight to Kangaroo Island.

Arrive on Kangaroo Island by air, where you will be met by your guide and your island nature experience begins with an introduction to Kangaroo Island. Tour through several island habitats and see wildlife in its natural environment. Kangaroo Island is a haven for Australian wildlife, which exists in its natural habitat without the threat of introduced predators. Listen to the distinct sounds of the native birdlife as they chorus from the tall eucalyptus trees. Kangaroo Island is home to some 250 species of birds, many of which, through isolation from the mainland, have developed their own subspecies and are therefore unique to Kangaroo Island. As you travel the island keep an eye out for echidnas, wallabies, reptiles and wildflowers. At the spectacular Seal Bay Conservation Park, your guide will escort you on a memorable walk along the beach. This bay is home to a healthy Australian Sea-lion colony. Walk among the sea-lions as they bask on the beach or among the sand dunes after their extensive fishing expedition. With your guide, you are able to stand at a safe distance to these wonderful endangered creatures and hear them sigh and watch them at play. This is a truly unforgettable experience — one that you will treasure forever.
Enter our exclusive Heritage-listed natural bush property to enjoy a delicious gourmet picnic lunch with wine. Follow your lunch with a pleasant bushwalk or beach stroll. Travel through the island’s interior keeping an eye out for koalas and echidnas. Explore the spectacular beaches of the north coast and enjoy a bushwalk. Listen for Australia’s rarest cockatoo, the Kangaroo Island glossy black cockatoo and watch out for the Tammar wallaby, with its small, fine features, in its natural habitat.
Later in the afternoon, as the day draws to a close, see the kangaroos leave the safety of the bush to begin grazing on the open pastures. Your tour concludes at Penneshaw for your ferry service to Adelaide. Your tour concludes at
Kingscote Airport in time for your 6.30 pm flight to Adelaide.

Drive to Mount Gambier is a city in the southeastern corner of South Australia. It’s known for its limestone, volcanic landscape and crater lakes. One of these, Blue Lake, turns cobalt blue in summer. Nearby, the Centenary Tower offers panoramic views of the area. The Umpherston Sinkhole contains a lush sunken garden. The Lady Nelson Visitor Centre houses a full-size replica of a late-18th-century ship.

Mt Gambier to Port Campbell
Drive East to Port Campbell.
Port Campbell is a coastal town in Victoria, Australia. The town is on the Great Ocean Road, west of the Twelve Apostles, in the Shire of Corangamite. At the 2006 census, Port Campbell had a population of 599.

Port Campbell to Melbourne

Melbourne is the coastal capital of the south-eastern Australian state of Victoria. At the city's centre is the modern Federation Square development, with plazas, bars, and restaurants by the Yarra River. In the Southbank area, the Melbourne Arts Precinct is the site of Arts Centre Melbourne – a performing arts complex – and the National Gallery of Victoria, with Australian and indigenous art.

The tour of the city will allow our guests to enjoy the attractions of Marvellous Melbourne in a relaxed and entertaining way. Our guides will bring to life the buildings and the rich history of this city. Enjoy a walk in the park, visit St Patricks Cathedral, drive along elegant Collins St. and visit the Shrine of Remembrance. Check out the trendy seaside suburb of St Kilda and Port Phillip Bay. See the tennis centre, home of the Australian Open and drive along the Formula One circuit in Albert Park. Tour ends at the amazing Eureka Skydeck 88 viewing platform (Optional Extra - at time of booking).

Melbourne to Ayers Rock

After arriving in Ayers Rock airport you will be transferred by seat in coach transfer to your hotel.

Day 12:

Ayers Rock
Uluru Sacred Sights & Sunset
Your Italian speaking guide will join you today for your Uluru Base & Sunset tour, providing full translation and commentary for the duration of your sightseeing.

Visit Uluṟu - Kata Tjuṯa Cultural Centre where there is time to purchase some locally made Aboriginal art and learn more about the Western Desert region.
Later travel around the base of Uluru with a local Driver Guide. Learn about the native flora, fauna and intriguing cultural traditions of traditional owners, the Anangu, and discover an array of fascinating sacred sites. Join your Driver Guide for a walk to Mutitjulu Waterhole. You'll explore a number of caves and view Aboriginal rock paintings as your Guide interprets their meaning and significance.
Travel to the Uluru sunset viewing area, 'Sunset Strip' and relax with a glass of wine and Nibbles as the sun sets over the western horizon and the evening sky brings out the many shades of colour for which Uluṟu is renowned.

Please ensure you have a minimum of 1 litre of water with you for your walk.

Ayers Rock to Cairns
This morning appreciate a beautiful Uluru Sunrise & Kata Tjuta
Your Italian Speaking Guide will join you today for your Uluru Sunrise & Kata Tjuta tour, providing full translation and commentary for the duration of your sightseeing.

Rise early this morning to travel to Talinguru Nyakunytjaku in Uluru & Kata Tjuta National Park. Watch the first rays of the sunset the Red Centre alight while enjoying a warming cup of tea or coffee. Then travel to the mystical 36 domes of Kata Tjuta. On the way, enjoy panoramic views of the southern side of Kata Tjuta, before arriving at the base of Walpa Gorge. Spend some time exploring the gorge and the unusual conglomerate rock formations. The walking trail through Walpa Gorge follows the natural creek between two of the tallest domes of Kata Tjuta.
Duration: 5 hours Departs: 1.5 hours prior to sunrise Returns: 11.00am

Enjoy a day exploring the rainforest and amazing landscapes of the Cape Tribulation wilderness area.

Daintree River Cruise: Reach an understanding of this wildlife environment for one hour, habitat of birds, tree snakes, unique plants and of course the estuarine crocodile.
Alexandra Lookout: After winding through the rainforest of the Alexandra Range, enjoy this spectacular lookout over the Daintree River estuary, Snapper Island and beyond to the Coral Sea.
Tropical Lunch: With special access at a private rainforest property, enjoy a short walk along a delightful rainforest creek before a delicious tropical lunch. Choice of quality steak, fish or vegetarian meal with fresh salads and fruit platter, followed by coffee or Daintree Tea.

Cape Tribulation: Walk on this world-renowned rainforest beach and admire the coastline and fringing coral reef from the Kulki Lookout. Cape Tribulation was named by Captain Cook- “ this is where our trials and tribulations began”.

Mossman Gorge Centre: Visit the Mossman Gorge Gateway Centre and enjoy an Indigenous presentation by the traditional owners of the gorge, the Kuku Yalanji people before boarding your eco shuttle for the transfer into Mossman Gorge. Your driver/guide will take you for a guided walk sharing their knowledge of this enchanting rainforest environment. Learn about the fascinating secrets of one of the world’s oldest rainforests. Guided tour and afternoon tea is included.

Day 15:

Cairns to Green Island or Fitzroy
Private transfer to Cairns Wharf (English). Launch transfer to Green Island or Fitzroy Island.

Great Barrier Reef Cruise
From Fitzroy :
Guests are to make their own way to the Wharf for a 10.15 am departure (please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure) Sunlover Reef Cruises air-conditioned Catamaran departs Fitzroy Island at 10.15 am to the Pontoon at Moore Reef on the Outer Barrier Reef. Guests have 4 hours on the pontoon to experience the reef from many aspects. You will return to Fitzroy Island at approximately 4.30 pm.
From Green island
Three hours at the Outer Reef Activity Platform, Snorkeling equipment, use of Buoyancy vests, Reef education presentation, Hot and cold buffet lunch, Semi-submersible coral reef viewing tour, Underwater Observatory, Guided Eco Reef Talk in the underwater observatory, Afternoon tea and coffee available whilst at the platform, cheese and biscuits on return journey
