Get the best of both worlds on this four-day excursion which reveals a fascinating underwater world and some inspirational cultural spots. We uncover the paradise of Gili Islands, made up of Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Gili Air, which are known for their colorful reefs, magnificent marine life and rare sea turtles. If you are looking to snorkel, scuba or free dive, this is the place to do so as you will also see colorful fish aplenty. The next day is a sightseeing adventure which starts with a visit to the morning market in Kediri village, followed by shopping for handicrafts at Banyumulek where locals have been producing earthenware pottery for generations. Next up is the village of Sade, known for its unique homes constructed from buffalo dung and mud.

Program

Day 1:
Lombok
Upon arrival at Lombok Airport, our representative will meet you and you will be transferred directly to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to spend at leisure.

Day 2:
Lombok/Senggigi – Gili Island (Breakfast, Lunch)
You can discover an amazing underwater world today. From Teluk Kodek Harbour, we will take a boat to the Gili Islands: Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Gili Air.
Some of the best snorkeling in Indonesia is in this location and you will encounter the colorful coral reefs that are home to a vast variety of marine life, including rainbow fish and you may even spot a sea turtle. On the smallest island of Gili Meno, swim with sea turtles at Turtle Point.
At Gili Trawangan, the largest island, a sunken ship sits at Wreck Point near Mentigi Beach. If you are looking to snorkel, scuba or free dive, this is the place to do so as you will also see colorful fish aplenty. The most famous spots are Shark Point, Manta Point and Simon's Reef.
We head back to Lombok in the late afternoon and the rest of the day is yours to spend at leisure. Overnight in Lombok.

Day 3:
Lombok / Sasak Vilage (Breakfast, Lunch)
Learn about the indigenous Sasak ethnic group’s way of life on this informative tour. First stop on this eight-hour trip is Kediri Village, followed by the pottery village of Banyumulek – one of the main pottery centres in Lombok – where locals have been producing earthenware for generations.

We continue on to Sukarara, where traditional weavers put their many years of work into practice and visitors can try out the techniques for themselves. Next up is the village of Sade, known for its unique homes constructed from buffalo dung and mud. The penultimate stop is at the unspoiled and off-the-beaten track Tanjung Aan Beach, a long stretch of white sand which is popular with tourists and surfers alike. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in Kuta. The tour concludes at Mayura Water Palace, a floating palace which was built in 1744 and also a former royal temple. This is a pilgrimage site for Lombok’s Hindus.

Day 4:
Lombok (Breakfast)
Today is free at leisure. Feel free to explore the locality, shop in the market or try some local cuisine.
At a scheduled time, a transfer will be arranged to take you to the airport.
