This beautiful traditional style property boasts stunning views over the Aegean sea, caldera/volcano and surrounding islands. It is built in to the cliffside on the edge of Oia village. The centre of Oia can be accessed on foot via the traditional narrow alleyways adorned with bright pink splashes of Bourgainvillea that snake through the village in just a minute. There are many cafes, bars, tavernas, restaurants and shops nearby. Oia is the place where people gather to see the infamous sunset. Most of Oia is not accessible to vehicles, however, there is a car park about 4 minutes walk from the hotel. On arrival, guests can call for the porter to go to the car park and assist with their Baggage. The airport is a 25 minute transfer away as is Fira town the capital of the island. The nearest beach is a 5 minute drive away.This is an all suite property with rooms constructed in the traditional cave dwelling style. They are dug in to the cliff with cool white stone walls,vaulted ceilings and traditional style stone based beds. This design is complemented by modern touches such as tiled floors, air conditioning, telephone, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, satellite television channels, DVD player, safe deposit boxs. A touch of luxury is added with bathrobes, slippers, wine, champagne, flowers and fresh fruit on arrival. There is also a furnished terrace outside each suite either private or shared and overlooking the sea. The bathrooms are with shower, bathtub or jacuzzi.The restaurant is beautifully decorated in a traditional style with dark wood furniture complemented by pieces of art. It offers both indoor and outdoor seating. A selection of both Mediteranean and International cuisine is on offer.As this building runs down a cliff it is spread over several floors with steps linking each floor. Traditional white washed stone building with an outdoor swimming pool which is partly in a cave partly outside.The lobby is fairly small but is adjacent to the restaurant.This is a beautiful property with stunning views.
