The hotel is situated amidst beautiful natural surroundings and affords wonderful views of the Firth of Clyde on the Island of Arran. The sea and nearest beach are approximately 100 metres away. The Scottish harbour town of Ayr lies around 15 km from the hotel. Glasgow Prestwick Airport is roughly 6 km from the hotel. The centre of Glasgow is a 45-minute drive away.

The hotel was built in 1894 and renovated in 2022. 89 non-smoking rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions.
