It is located at the east end of the famous Princes Street and very close to the Waverly Station, from where the Airport bus departs every 30 minutes. Nearby attractions are the Castle, the Scott Monument and Holyrood Palace.

The hotel was opened in March 2009 after a renovation and offers internet access, a spa with swimming pool, sauna and steam room, gym, restaurant, bar, conference rooms and parking (extra charge).
