Location

Located in the centre of the city, the hotel is ideally situated for tourists and is just off a main road ina quieter location. There is a great view of the Spilberk castle and the downtown area.

Rooms

Bedrooms are medium or large in size and well decorated in tasteful white and red colours. The appearance is grand and rich, especially when the rooms are filled with natural light from the large windows. Bathrooms are also well apppointed and white in colour.

Exterior

An old building built in 1873 and added to in 1902, the hotel is grand in appearance. A new wing was added in 1987, but it still retains a traditional, imposing style. There is parking to the front and also a roadside bar area.

Restaurant

The main restaurant is medium sized and offers a good selection of international dishes. There is also a bar area and smaller restaurant too.

Lobby

The reception area is large in size, although there are not many seats available. The reception desk is located along the rear wall and is a good length.

This hotel is located in the centre of Brno, just a 10-minute walk from historical attractions, such as Spilberk Castle and the cathedral, as well as the city's bus and train stations. The establishment has more than a century-old tradition of welcoming guests to the city. Designed by the famous architect Antonin Blazek in 1893 and extended with a new wing in Art Nouveau-style in 1902, it offers style and elegance that fit its status.
