The Hotel Rural Real de Poqueira is located in Capileira, in the heart of the Sierra Nevada National Park, a declared UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. This charming hotel situated opposite the church, was once and old village house which has been restored into the 3-Star Hotel it is today, still retaining features of its rural past, built in a traditional style unique to this mountain region.
Its elegant rooms feature air conditioning, heating, a flat-screen TV and private bathroom with toiletries. WI-FI is available throughout the hotel.
If you visit in summer you can enjoy our spacious outdoor pool and garden area, surrounded by magnificent views.
We have 3 types of double rooms:
- Superior double rooms (all have 2 beds)
- Standard double rooms (double bed or 2 beds)
- Economy double rooms (double bed)
This modern Hotel also has a room adapted for people with disabilities and two elevators to reach the upper floors.
Cots are available for 8€/day and/or extra beds for 15€/day.
In the area you can go hiking, cycling and horseback riding. Our reception staff can provide tourist information and organize activities.
Granada and the beaches of the Costa Tropical are only 1.5 hours drive away. The Sierra Nevada ski resort is about 2 hours drive away. The nearest airports are Granada at 90km and Malaga at 150km.
