The tourist centre of Ammoudara and nightclubs are roughly 5 km away. The inviting beach and turquoise-blue sea are also roughly around 5 km from the hotel and can comfortably be reached by car. Heraklion is 12 km from the hotel. Here, guests will find plenty of interesting, cultural and historical sightseeing attractions, such as the History Museum and the Archaeological Museum. There are 2 airports in the vicinity (one is around 12 km away and the other is 15km away). Knossos Palace is only 20 km from the hotel and Phaestos Palace is roughly 80 km away, which are both well worth a visit.

This was a project that began years ago with the aim of recreating a Cretan village where visitors would enjoy experiences ranging from Cretan dance classes to a traditional Cretan wedding. There is a folklore museum and arts and crafts workshops operating upon request such as ironmongers, loom, wood oven, and traditional Cretan dances.The rooms are of a traditional style with white washed walls and dark wood. All rooms come with balcony, direct dial telephone and air conditioning. Some of the rooms have a fireplace. The furnishing is in a quite basic rustic style.There is a main restaurant which offers Greek dishes cooked with all due respect to tradition and original ingredients.There is a medium sized reception area where clients are welcomed.
