Location

The aparthotel is quietly situated above the sandy and rocky beach of Porto Koukla in the south of Zakynthos Island. It is about a 4 km drive to the busy resort of Laganas with its famous nightlife and souvenir shops. The village of Agios Sostis with tavernas and pubs etc. is within a few minutes' walk. Zakynthos International Airport is only about 8 km away.

Facilities

2 junior suites, 2 apartments, 10 studios and 55 double rooms are available to guests in a 3-storey main building and an auxiliary building. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. The Gloria Maris Hotel is situated in the quiet area of Porto Koukla on the bay of Laganas. The bay is a nesting site for the famous Kareta-Kareta turtles. (There are no motorized water sports available here, the turtles take priority).This beach front property set in its own attractive landscaped gardens is the ideal choice for a relaxing holiday in Zante. There are boat trips available from this resort to Marathonissi, Keri Caves and of course turtle spotting. Porto Koukla is a wonderful little resort nestled between Aghios Sostis and Keri Lake on the bay of Laganas surrounded by olive groves. This is a very small resort consisting of two hotels and a few self catering units with a very narrow beach and with lovely views of Marathonissi and the bay of Laganas. The main town of Zakynthos is just a few miles away and offers a great opportunity to shop and explore the harbour and narrow streets.
