**Grand Hotel Excelsior** is a four-star hotel located a short walk from Piazza Italia, in the heart of Chianciano Terme, in Tuscany. This famous spa resort, located on the hill between Val d'Orcia and Val di Chiana, features many important monuments, such as the Church of the Immaculate and the Church of Our Lady of the Rose, dating back to the sixteenth century. Montepulciano, a medieval village famous for its wine, is a 20-minute drive. Perugia, the city founded by the Etruscans, is about 73 kilometres away. Lake Trasimeno, with its three islands, of which only one is permanently inhabited, is about 28 kilometres away. Umbria international airport in Perugia can be reached in an hour and twenty minutes by car.

This hotel, a historic Art Nouveau building of the early twentieth century, consists of a single unit arranged over four levels and surrounded by a lush garden. It offers a panoramic terrace with a solarium equipped with deckchairs and sun loungers and a Jacuzzi swimming pool with swimming machine, located on the top floor. It also includes a lobby with a bar, a reception, an elevator, a lounge area with a TV, a bar and a restaurant with a veranda.
