The “Elia Bettolo” is in the historic center of Chania at the back of the town's Cathedral, in one of the liveliest quarters of the town. Its location lends itself for a walk to all the sights of the old town including the Venetian harbor, the Municipal Market, the Archaeological Museum, the Municipal Gallery, the Hebrew synagogue etc. and for a tour around the alleys that take you back in time and history.
Right next to the hotel is Skrydlof street, the leather street of Chania or “Stivanadika” as it is best known, where most of the town's shoemakers would make and sell the Cretan boots. This narrow street gives a distinct hue to the area and a feel one is in the middle of a bazaar.
The “Hotel Elia Bettolo” combines a modern décor with the traditional features of the old town. It consists of 20 rooms, each equipped with air conditioning, fridge, mini bar, satellite TV, phone, hair-dryer, safe vault, and an espresso coffee maker.
In our breakfast buffet, we offer traditional Cretan delicacies as well as treats from all over Greece along with hot and cold beverages.
As entrance to vehicles is not permitted in the old town, should you need to park your car, you can do so in one of the municipal parking lots located 100-150 meters from the hotel or in the surrounding streets wherever parking is allowed.

Centrally located in the Old Town within walking distance to all of the major attractions. It promises to provide high quality services to all of the distinguished guests. Located at the back of the Cathedral, provides a quiet stay in a picturesque neighborhood. Next to it there are several coffee houses and leather shops providing the Greek hospitality and mentality. Some of the studios feature a sofa with coffee table, while in others there are relaxing chairs. Upon request an extra single bed or baby cot can be provided for most of our rooms. A delicious breakfast is served in the hotel and a receptionist will be 24 hours per day at your disposal.
