This comfortable, well-equipped lodge is located in El Portal overlooking the Merced River. It is just 4 km from the western entrance to the famous Yosemite National Park.

Facilities

278 rooms, including 76 single rooms, are available to guests in a 3-storey main building and 9 auxiliary buildings. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Yosemite View Lodge is the closest accommodation outside the park to any of Yosemiteandapos;s 4 entrances. If you are visiting from November through March, you should expect chain requirements to be in effect (though itandapos;s possible you may not need to use chains), even if you only plan to visit Yosemite Valley and use the shuttle bus. Any time chain controls are in effect, all vehicles must have chains in possession, including four-wheel drive and rental vehicles. 5 rooms or more, per night are considered a group booking.
