Combine the thrill of a fjord adventure and the fun of exploring the city center of Oslo by getting this fantastic tour bundle. Enjoy the beauty of the Norwegian capital from the sea and on foot, and take pleasure in everything this lovely city has to offer.

Begin your day by getting acquainted with Oslo on our morning walking tour. We will start the time at the University of Oslo, located in the heart of the city. You get a great chance to marvel at the city’s most prominent architectural and historical edifices: the University building itself, the National Theatre, the Grand Hotel, and the building of Parliament. Our guide will also narrate a story about the street’s name and why it was named after Karl Johan, a King of Sweden who had conquered Norway.

While walking down this bustling street that abounds with boutiques and restaurants, we will make a stop near Oslo Domkirke, the city’s main cathedral, built in 1697. Eventually, we will reach the Oslo City Hall, a monumental red-brick building towering over the fjord side. This edifice is not merely an administrative building but an important art object. The walls of the city hall are adorned with frescoes by prominent Norwegian artists, and they depict all important milestones in the country’s history and Norwegian folklore.

After our walking tour ends, embark on a fjord cruise and get a glimpse of the city’s iconic landmarks from the sea. As your ship departs from Aker Brygge, you will sail past Akershus Fortress, an imposing 13th-century fortress that has played a vital role in defending the city over the centuries.

While sailing in the waters of Oslofjord, Norwegian- and English-speaking guides on the ship will tell stories about the city’s most famous landmarks you would be gazing at from the sea. Eventually, the boat will make a short stop at Bygdøy, an inner peninsula of Oslo.

If you wish to visit some of the most remarkable museums of the city (Norsk Folkemuseum, Fram Museum, and Kon-Tiki Museum), it is possible to disembark here and get back to the center by your own.
