Program details

Our tour begins in Coyoacan, one of the oldest districts in Mexico. Feel its magic comes to life through the temples, old houses, colonial plazas, markets, cafes, bookshops and throughout the town. Visit the Frida Khalo Museum and delve into the works of the famous artist in her very own creative universe, the Blue House, and the place where she was born and where she passed away.

Afterwards, head to Xochimilco, also known as "The place of flowers". With a deep history going back to pre-Hispanic times, you will be amazed by its monuments, markets, local crafts, beautiful flowers and enjoy a ride along the river aboard a traditional colourful trajinera (a flat-bottomed boat).

The last stop on this eye-opening tour is UNAM, the National Autonomous University of Mexico. There are not enough words to describe it. Their first buildings were built in the fifties and various architects participated in the design and Mexican artists such as Diego Rivera, Juan O'Gorman, Siqueiros, Mario Pani among others. Thanks to its design, harmony and functionality in 2007, it was inscribed on the UNESCO cultural heritage of mankind.
