Program details

How about spending a couple of hours, a half-day, or a full day aboard an amazing Private Sailing Boat Cruise in Lisbon?

Starting from Belém, we can adapt our route to your preferences and the duration of the cruise.

For a 2 hour cruise, we suggest you leave Lisbon’s crowds behind and enjoy the city’s famous sights aboard a beautiful sailboat with a cruise on the Tagus River. This is a city tour to remember featuring wonderful panoramic views, famous monuments that honor the Age of Discovery, and impressively engineered bridges.

As you sail out from the medieval port of Belem into the Tagus river estuary, your eye is caught almost immediately by the striking Monument to the Discoveries, built to celebrate the region’s rich history of exploring the New World. The crew expertly navigates your craft upriver, taking you beneath the 25th of April Bridge as the dome of the Estrela Basilica in Lisbon’s Old Town comes into view.

Both shores of the river have landmarks to catch your eye: the Castle of Sao Jorge, the statue of Christ the King, and another engineering masterpiece, the Vasco de Gama Bridge. With an onboard guide imparting fascinating historical context, this is a wonderful overview of Lisbon’s grandest sights, all from the comfort of a stunning sailboat.

If you prefer a half-day cruise, we can go sailing in the direction of the Atlantic Ocean, up to Caxias or Oeiras. If you are a sailing lover, you can practice your sailing skills. Our crew is more than happy to teach some sailing.

When it’s good weather, we suggest anchoring in one of the bays, near the beaches to relax and swim.

For a full day (8h) cruise, we suggest sailing for example to Cascais, a charismatic village with beautiful beaches, and take the opportunity to enjoy the magnificent scenery of the Estoril coast.

Starting at the Tagus River, we can enjoy the fantastic national monuments in Lisbon and Belém. Then, we set off to Oeiras and the beaches of Carcavelos, Parede, Estoril, and Cascais, enjoying the various forts that defended our capital, such as the fantastic Fort do Bugio.

At Cascais, we can anchor, enjoy the sun and swim in the Bay of Cascais. We can enjoy a meal aboard or stop at Cascais Marina and go to one of the great restaurants around.

At the end of the day, we sail back to Belém. Maybe you’re lucky and get a visit from the dolphins. It will be a great sailing experience for sure!

* For cruises longer than 3h, and subject to good weather conditions, we will anchor in the Bay for diving.
