About 50 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh city, the Can Gio Mangrove Forest is a world-class biological reserve recognized by UNESCO in 2000, is proving to be a top tourist destination with its system of canals, its spectacular ocean scenery and its tranquility.



7:45am: Pick-up at hotel and transfer to Tan Cang Pier (A100 Ung Van Khiem Str., Ward 25, Binh Thanh Dist., HCMC) by minivan.

8am: Depart to Can Gio Mangrove Forest. The speedboat brings tourists along Saigon River crossing Tan Thuan Harbor, Ben Nghe and enters the confluence of Nha Be River and Dong Nai River. Then the boat goes in one of the most beautiful canal with interminable and limitless mangrove forest - Vam Sat Canal. Fresh fruits and drinks are served on boat.

9:15am: Arrive at Vam Sat

+ Tourists will learn about Vietnamese guerillawarfare in the mangrove forest

+ Taking a walk on the path through the forest, try to experience the natural life in the forest.

+ Challenging suspension bridge, visiting friendly deer.

+ Learning about ecosystem in Can Gio forest.

+ Climbing up Tang Bong Tower with the height of 28m and bow shape – symbol of strength and will of elder generation in the war. When climbing up the highest floor of the tower, tourists will be “wow” by the nice scenery mangrove forest as far as the eyes can see.

+ Visit the Reserve Bats Lagoon of the city, take the wooden boat to visit bat swamp and fishing crap.

12am: Have lunch at Vam Sat restaurant. After lunch, tour guide takes tourist to visit:

+ Visit the crocodile farm, learn the process of hatching crocodiles

+ Join one of the most fearless activities: Standing on the cruise boat for angling carnivorous crocodile.

+ Visit the area for bird conservation in the wild bird nesting season, more than 10.000 types of bird in 26 different species (from May to October).

2:30pm: Back to the boat and head back to Saigon.

4pm: Arrive at Tan Cang Pier. Drop off at hotel.
