The Russian Bay or Ambavatory Bay is a 40-minute boat ride from Nosy Be.



It is a vast bay, very often a playground for dolphins, studded with beaches and small fishing villages.



Apart from his historical testimony of the Russo-Japanese War 1904 - 1905 and the Russian contingent which settled on the superb bay of Ambavatory, the Russian Bay is also a wonderful site with many white sand beaches. Several activities will be on offer, starting with a visit to a large deep bay made up of three handles.



For those who love hiking, at the far right there is an old ruined landing stage used by Russian sailors at the time, an unfinished dirt road leads to a hotel that has remained in the planning stage. We can also practice spearfishing for those who know it.
