Program details

Combine a guided tour of the wonderful city of Munich with a visit to the Allianz Arena, home of Bayern Munich Football Club and the most distinctive and immediately recognisable soccer stadium in Europe.

Begin with a one-hour Munich sightseeing tour for a great overview of the Bavarian capital. Crossing the imposing Konigsplatz square you’ll pass by the renowned art museums of Lenbachhaus and the Old and New Pinakothek. You’ll see the former artists’ quarter Schwabing and travel along the impressive Ludwig and Prinzregentenstreet, which are lined by such magnificent buildings as the Theatiner Church, Hall of Generals, House of Arts, Bavarian National Museum and the Angel of Peace.

Then we head off to the Allianz Arena, a spectacular modern stadium constructed for the 2006 World Cup. Home to both Munich clubs – Bayern and TSV 1860 – it has fast established itself as an iconic symbol of German prowess on the international football scene and is familiar from countless Champions League and international matches. With a seating capacity of almost 70,000, it was the first stadium in the world to be built with a full colour-changing exterior. You’ll be given a full tour of the stadium and its facilities and have the opportunity to purchase Bayern-related memorabilia to commemorate your visit at the fan club shop.

Football aficionados and visitors hoping to delve deeper into the psyche of the Bavarian capital will find plenty of fascinating information on this combined sightseeing tour of Munich and the Allianz Arena.
