Spend a magical Christmas day wandering the streets of Rome and soaking up the culture and atmosphere of the Eternal city. Without a doubt, the best way to spend your festive afternoon is to explore the lively piazzas, hidden gems and historical landmarks that the Italian capital has to offer.
This three and a half hour walking tour will take you to all of Rome’s most enchanting attractions and landmarks, beginning at the Spanish Steps. Your small group will be led by a knowledgeable tour guide who will take you on the best route through the city and tell you fascinating stories of its history.
Take in the beautiful Trevi Fountain, the elegant shops of Via Condotti, the Pantheon, Piazza Nova and much more. Check out the Christmas markets at Bernini’s Fountain of Four Rivers and conclude your tour in the Vatican’s spectacular St Peter’s Square to admire the Nativity Scene and giant Christmas tree.
Meeting/pick-up point: Near the metro station entrance in Piazza di Spagna at the third of the five palm trees (at the central tree).
Duration: Three hours and-a-half.
Start/opening time: At 3.30pm.
