Enjoy the drive of a lifetime in a 600 horsepower Nascar racing car at the Richard Petty Driving Experience. Settle into the seat, take the wheel, pump the gas and zoom around the track at speeds hovering 200km/h (120mph). No speeding tickets or point deductions; you’re excused as racing royalty, just like seven-time Nascar champion Richard ‘The King’ Petty.


Pose for a photo with your sweet ride and hear the famous command: ‘Drivers, start your engines!’ Zoom around the oval, feel the rumble of this powerful stock car and live the dream! There are four options to choose from:


For the Ride-along Programme you are the passenger in a two-seater stock car driven by a professional instructor for three laps at top speeds of 235km/h (145mph). You must be at least 16 years old to ride. No reservation is required.


Junior Ride-Along Enjoy the thrills and excitement of riding shotgun in a race car driven around the track by a professional instructor! Junior Ride-Along Experiences are for children between the ages of 6 and 13 years old and at least 48 inches in height. No reservations needed.
The Rookie Experience allows you to drive a race car for eight laps around the one-mile tri-oval. Classroom introduction, track orientation and safety instruction are all included. Class lasts approximately one-and-a-half to two hours. Daily at 8am and 2pm.


With the King Experience you enjoy one eight-lap session and one 10-lap session at speeds of up 210km/h (130mph). Classroom introduction, track orientation and safety instruction are all included. Daily at 11am.


In the Experience of a Lifetime you run three 10-lap sessions and work on establishing a comfortable driving line and building speed. Daily at 11am.


For the Rookie Experience, the King Experience and the Experience of a Lifetime options, you must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver’s licence and be able to drive a manual transmission. Reservation is required for all three.
