This collection of 9 buildings features the Turner-Ingersoll Mansion; New England’s oldest surviving mansion built in 1668 and made famous by novelist Nathaniel Hawthorne. Explore the rooms of this beautiful building and take a stroll through its charming seaside gardens.


Proceed to the Peabody Essex Museum, which, in addition to its vast collection of art and cultural artifacts from around the world, features a hands-on education center, numerous parks, period gardens, and 24 historic properties. Take in history and culture at every corner and relax at the café and restaurant, browsing through the award-winning museum shop.


Salem is intrinsically associated with witchcraft and its infamous trials of the 17th century with interest in the Witch Hysteria remaining extremely high. Learn all about the famous events that took place in this city at Salem Witch museum, featuring fascinating exhibits that bring the trials to life. The exhibit "Witches Evolving Perception" traces the myths of this mysterious religion, while other museum exhibits tell of the hundreds accused of and tried for practicing witchcraft.
