Piazza della Signoria is one of the most beautiful monumental complexes in the world boasting an open-air museum of sculptural masterpieces in Loggia dei Lanzi and Palazzo Vecchio. Delve into 15th century Florence to learn about the politics, ruling families and history that changed the course of time.


Laced with intricate and artistic sculptures, we firstly explore Loggia dei Lanzi. Hear about the meaning behind this open air sculpture gallery in the heart of Florence whilst admiring its masterpieces. Then head over to the political headquarters and symbol of the city for centuries – Palazzo Vecchio.


Founded in 1299 and transformed into a sumptuous palace by Cosimo de’Medici during the 1500s, we skip the line into the home of the grand ducal family. Admire the stylish courtyard on your way in, and once inside take in the beautiful “Salone del Cinquecento”, as well as the complex of “Quartieri Monumentali” boasting frescoes by Ghirlandaio, Salviati, Bronzino and Vasari, and embellished with sculptures by Michelangelo and Donatello.
