Programma

Day 1:

KOTA KINABALU / MANGROVE TOUR (D)
Upon arrival at Kota Kinabalu International Airport, we will be transferred to the hotel (suggested flight arrival before 1.00pm). At 2.00pm we'll be picked up at our hotel and we'll go for a drive along scenic and picturesque villages. We will arrive at Kota Klias village jetty, where refreshment will be served: coffee/tea and Malay cakes. Here, we'll start our river cruise in search of wildlife such as the Proboscis monkeys, amazing variety of birds, monitor lizards, Bornean bats and crocodiles. As dusk sets in, we'll observe the magic of flickering fireflies. At 7.30pm a traditional Malay dinner will be served upon arrival from the boat cruise. Around 8.30pm, after dinner we'll return to Kota Kinabalu. Overnight.

Day 2:

KOTA KINABALU / FULL DAY MARINE PARK ( B/ pic nic L)
At 9.00am we'll leave the hotel to go to the jetty to take the 15-20 minutes boat ride to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park. Upon arrival in the island, we will enjoy the beautiful white sandy beach and the sun. We can swim, explore or just relax. Other activities such as fish feeding and snorkelling can also be done on the Island. Around 11.30am, we will head Mamutik Island for a BBQ lunch. Optional: Water Sport activities at the island on own account. Transfer back to the jetty and return to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 3:

KOTA KINABALU - MOUNT KINABALU ( B/ L /D) : We will meet at the hotel lobby and proceed to Kinabalu Park, Malaysia 's Natural Heritage site. The journey will take approximately 2 hours passing by villages and paddy fields. Along mountainous roads that wind along the Crocker range. We'll take a short walk at Nabalu, through the stalls that sell fruits, vegetables, local products and handicrafts. We'll arrive at Kinabalu Park, where we will enjoy the cool and refreshing mountain air: if the day is clear, we'll have a majestic view of Mount Kinabalu, the highest mountain in South East Asia. We will proceed for a guided walk along the nature trails with the park naturalist and we'll visit Mountain Garden. While walking, we'll listen to the sounds of the jungle and observe nature's plants, trees, orchids and butterflies. Kinabalu Park boasts an estimate of 4500 species of plants which includes 1500 species of orchids, 77 of which are endemic to Kinabalu. The park also features 289 species of birds and 290 different types of butterflies. Depart for lunch at local restaurant then check-in at the Lodge. Overnight.

Day 4:

MOUNT KINABALU / KOTA KINABALU ( B/ L)
After breakfast and check-out, we'll take the road to an interesting natural wonder, the Poring Hot Spring, located approximately 47km from Kinabalu Park. Poring Hot Spring, named after the tall bamboo plant that is abundant in that area, is a natural spring where hot sulphurous water emits from the ground. There are Japanese Baths where visitors can soak themselves and let the invigorating sulphurous water stimulate the body. Visitors can also try the Canopy Walkway, where suspension bridges are flying at the top of the canopy for visitors to walk among the tropical jungle. We will also visit the Orchid Garden and Butterfly Farm. After the tour, we'll return to Kota Kinabalu and we'll go either to the hotel or to the airport.
