The 4 days tour include visit to magnificent Hindu Temples, Buddhist Monasteries & Bhitarkanika Mangrove Forest the world's largest and most relevant nesting ground for the endangered Olive Ridley Turtles. Bhitarkanika is home to over 55 species of mangroves, 170 species of birds and a large population of saltwater crocodiles, hawks-bill and leather-back turtles, Bibron's soft shelled turtle, endangered king cobra and the Indian rock python. Accommodation with all meals, transport by private car, guide and boat safari are well included in this tour.

Programma

Day 1:
Arrive Bhubaneswar
On arrival at Bhubaneswar airport transfer to hotel. Later visit Parasurameshwar, Mukteshwar, Rajarani & Lingaraj temple (Only Hindu can enter sanctum). Also visit Khandagiri & Udaygiri caves & Dhauli Rock Edicts.

Day 2:
Bhubaneswar - Bhitarakanika National Park (200kms)
Pick up from your Bubaneshwar hotel or airport and drive to Bhitarakanika, check in at hotel. Bhitarkanika is second largest mangrove forest in India. It was declared a sanctuary in 1975, in order to protect the estuarine crocodile and the turtles in their rare mangrove habitat. Rest time free and easy to relax.

Day 3:
Bhitarakanika National Park
Explore Bhitarkanika the breeding ground for Olive Ridley turtles. Boat safari in Mangrove forest, enjoy the serpentine creeks, watch out for birds, particularly different varieties of Kingfisher. Keep looking for estuarine crocodiles basking in the sun. Also visit Bagagahan Bird Sanctuary, climb to watch tower, look for Pelican & different varieties of Storks. Later drive to Similipal and check in at Cottage/ Tent.

Day 4:
Bhitarakanika National Park - Bhubaneswar
Drive to Bhubaneswar enroute visit Ratnagiri, Udaigiri & Lalitgiri Excavated Buddhist Sites complex made in 1st century. Continue drive to Bhubaneshwar and drop off to Airport or at your hotel.
