Descrizione

This 4 days tour begin with colonial, historical and former capital of India dotted with British era monuments. Explore the Sundarbans (UNESCO world heritage site) world's largest coastal mangrove forest by cruising in buffer zone . The delta is densely covered by mangrove forests, and is one of the largest reserves for the Bengal tiger. It is also home to a variety of bird, reptile and invertebrate species, including the salt-water crocodile.

Programma

Day 1:
Arrive Kolkata
On arrival at Kolkata Airport assistance & transfer to hotel (standard hotel check in time 12pm). Later city tour of Kolkata visit Fort William, Victoria Memorial, Netaji Bhawan, Howrah Bridge, Dakshineswar Kali Temple & other landmark monuments of the city.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 2:
Kolkata - Sunderban National Park (130kms)
Drive to Sunderban National Park, the natural abode of the famous Royal Bengal Tigers and numerous crocodiles, snakes and deer. This forest with entwining rivers is one of the last strongholds of the wild world. Boat cruise in the park.
O/n at hotel/ resort. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 3:
Sunderban National Park
Cruise with the vessel along the creeks and take a village tour. Meet the fishermen, the Honey Collectors as well as the woodcutters and share their experiences of the Jungle. Next, visit the Sudhanyakhali watch tower, most of the Royal Bengal Tigers are sighted from this tower.
Overnight at hotel. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 4:
Sunderban NP - Kolkata (Drive)
Breakfast at hotel motor boat transfer to Sonakhali/ Godhkhali jetty. From here drive to Kolkata, direct transfer to airport to board flight for onward destination.
Meal plan: Breakfast.
