As a central station in Tokyo, it connects numerous train lines that lead to just about every corner of Japan through its bullet train network with regular departures to major destinations like Kyoto and access to both Narita and Haneda Airport. It is a gateway to both Tokyo and the rest of Japan.
The station premises boast a large variety of shops and restaurants which offers a great dining experience, takeaway and unique souvenir shopping.
• You will be spoiled for choice for an enjoyable meal at Tokyo Station. Home to ‘Tokyo Ramen Street’, you can find all the best ramen joints in Tokyo. As for ‘Kitchen Street’ it’s a place where you can find anything from light meals to gourmet fancy meals and Japan Gourmet Street (also known as "Nippon, Gourmet Highway) feature specialty stores representing regional food from Hakodate, Sendai, Yokohama, Toyama and others!
