Gain an impressive bird’s eye view of the high Andorran Pyrenees as you are whisked gently along in the cable car of La Massana.
Open all year round, this marvellous ride gives you spectacular views of the mountains extending into the distance to France and Spain. Located in one of Andorra’s highest areas, the scenery is truly breathtaking and the air is as pure as it can get.
Jump into the six seater cabin and prepare to be whisked high up into the sky in comfort and safety. The lift carries you over the marvellous setting of the valley of the Vallnord nature reserve where you can admire beautiful lakes and forests of firs. Enjoy the invigorating sensation of total freedom at a height of over 2,500 metres above sea level. The cable car itself has a top height of 675 meters and covers a distance of 2,250 meters before dropping you off in the pretty area of Pal.
You have the option of returning in the same way or you could be more adventurous and make your own way back down the mountain. Various attractive routes are open to you, including the possibility of descending by bike on an exhilarating mountain bike ride. You may prefer to go by foot and as you walk down the mountainside at a leisurely pace, be sure to stop off at the picturesque villages of Escás and Sispony. Treat yourself to a well earned drink and savour the spectacular Pyrenean scenery before heading back to your starting point.
