See the eastern side of Singapore and explore the “home of the Peranakans”.



The Peranakan is a lineage of Chinese immigrants that have married and mixed over the centuries with local Malays. The encounter of the two cultures has created a unique way of life clearly expressed in their fashion, architecture and cuisine. We will visit Rumah Kim Choo, a house that preserves the traditions of the Peranakan culture.



Taste some of the authentic Peranakan delicacies such as Nyonya Kuehn and pineapple tart before we adjourned for a walk along Joo Chiat and Katong areas to explore and experience the vibrant Peranakan neighbourhood.
