Climb higher along twisting mountain road and past tiny villages to find Kykkos Monastery. At an altitude of 1318 metres, Kykkos Monastery is located in an impressive densely forested area northwest of Troodos Mountains. It was founded at the end of 11th century. It is considered the richest and most lavish of the monasteries of Cyprus. The monastery is a popular pilgrim stop. Lunch will be served at a nearby mountain village. Before heading back to your hotel, explore a mountain waterfall and a waterdam.
