Hop onto one of Frankfurt’s famous blue double-decker buses and explore the highlights of this amazing city from the perfect vantage point of the upper deck.

Offering a choice of 12 languages, the on-board personal audio system will tell you all you need to know about the city’s history as you journey through this historical and modern metropolis. All you have to do is hop on at any of the 14 stops along the route, sit back and enjoy the ride.

Travel back in time to the historical heart of the city, the Hauptwache Square, where the baroque Hauptwache building, former headquarters of the Stadtwehr militia, stands proudly. Here you will also set eyes upon the famous medieval city hall: Romer. Catch your breath as you admire the 14th century St Bartholomew’s Cathedral, where Holy Roman Emperors used to be crowned King of Germany, and St Paul’s Church, known for becoming the first seat of Parliament. Continuing through the old quarter you also stumble upon Zeil Street, the amazing shopping haven, the Old Opera house, the towers of the original city wall and even one of Europe’s largest railway stations.

South of the Main River you can spot the Museum Embankment, thus named for the large concentration of museums that huddle on its banks. As you glide alongside the waters, fall in love with the impressive skyline of the modern banking quarter, home to the European Central Bank and some of Europe’s tallest skyscrapers.




Meeting/ pick-up point: Wiesenhuettenstr. 39, 60329 Frankfurt (close to central station/opposite Hotel Savoy. You can also start and end the tour at any of our 14 bus stops in the city.
Duration: One hour.
Start/opening time: First departure at 9:15am.
End/closing time: Last departure at 6pm in front of Central Station or Berliner Str.
