Spend an evening exploring one of San Francisco's most vibrant areas for food and nightlife on this walking tour through Chinatown. Let your senses be stimulated as you awaken to new flavours, ancient cultures and exotic lifestyles.

San Francisco's Chinatown is the oldest Chinatown in North America, the largest Chinese community outside of Asia and is one of the most densely populated sectors of the city as well as being one of the most picturesque.

We'll start this walking tour at twilight as we explore the area around Grant Avenue with its many flashy novelty stores and restaurants also visiting the Stockton Street neighbourhood with its produce and fish markets, stores, and restaurants. Taste Dim Sum from one of the oldest bakeries in the area and delve into Chinese mysticism and culture, as you explore local sculpture and architecture. You'll see the locals practising Tai Chi on Portsmouth Square and old men playing Chinese Chess in quiet back alleys. Search for authentic Chinese crafts and pottery and uncover hidden gems only intrepid locals know about. You'll be astonished by the new finds in hidden corners and the wonderful aromas and taste of some of the best tea, dim sum, and other food on this magical evening walking tour.

You will be accompanied by an experienced guide at all times. Remember to wear comfortable clothing and footwear and to dress for the weather.

Pick up available from Holiday Inn Fisherman's Wharf at 6:45pm and Hilton San Francisco Union Square at 7:00pm.Pick-ups are available from a number of set locations, should you wish for a specific pick up location additional fees may apply and payable locally.
