Unveil Vatican City and seize this fantastic opportunity to visit the Vatican Museums as well as the world famous Sistine Chapel after official closing times with this special tour! Take a trip to these magnificent sites after sunset and experience them as you’d never be able to during the daytime! The groups are limited to 15 people to ensure that the tour is much more intimate and personal for the guests. Avoid the crowds and the heat of the daytime whilst you’re taken round these brilliant places during this rare opportunity.

The Vatican Museums attract millions of tourists every year and it’s clear to see why. Come and see for yourself, the beautiful artwork and artefacts which inhabit the museums from Vincent Van Gogh’s Pietà, after Delacroix, which is housed in the Collection of Modern Religious Art, to the Augustus of Prima Porta in the Braccio Nuovo. The various sculptures and paintings are a sight to behold and at night they’re even more so.

After the visit to the Museums you will be taken to the renowned Sistine Chapel, the official residence of the Pope in Vatican City. Get a taste of the architecture and art which has gone into making the Sistine Chapel what it is today, with work from some of Italy’s most famous Renaissance artists, including Michelangelo and Pinturicchio. See the gorgeous Sistine Chapel Ceiling, covered in art including The Creation of Adam and many more pieces by Michelangelo. This tour is not to be missed!

Meeting/pick-up point: At the bottom of the steps across the street from the Entrance of the Vatican Museums. The steps are located right next to Caffè Vaticano on the corner of Viale Vaticano and Via Tunisi.
Duration: Approx. two and a half hours.
Start/opening time: The tour is available on Fridays at 7.15pm.
End/closing time: Approx. at 9.45pm.
Others: Small intimate group of no more than 15 persons. An English speaking guide will take you around the tour. Package includes Tour as per descriptions, After-hours entrance into the Museums, the Vatican Museums entrance ticket and reservation fee.
