Early departure to Ravenna with russian-speaking assistant. Arrival to the city and sightseeing with Russian-speaking guide. Ravenna is the location of eight UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The guide walks you through the main attractions of the city and tells you about the history and local features. You will see Basilica San Vitale - one of the most important examples of early Christian Byzantine art and architecture in Western Europe, The Mausoleum of Galla Placidia - a Roman building defined “the earliest and best preserved of all mosaic monuments, and at the same time one of the most artistically perfect", and Dante's Tomb. Departure to Bologna - the seventh most populous city in Italy. Bologna is home for numerous prestigious cultural, economic and political institutions as well as one of the most impressive trade fair districts in Europe. In 2000 it was declared European capital of culture and in 2006, a UNESCO “city of music”. You will meet with a Russian-speaking guide and walk through the main sightseeing: Bologna Cathedral builded from the 16-17th centuries.
