Il programma nel dettaglio

Come to be truly at one with nature and escape the hustle and bustle of Bogota with a two day tour through the spectacular area of Ibague and the Combeima Canyon in the Tolima department. You’ll focus on observing the wealth of birds and animals with the help of a professional ornithologist and explore the area in depth.

The area boasts two AICAS (Areas of Interest for the Conservation of Birds) and is therefore a rich area for observing birds in their natural habitat. You’ll be provided with binoculars to help you catch a close up glimpse of the great diversity of native birds that inhabit the area and a professional ornithologist will be on hand to help you make the most of your experience. The adventure will start in Juntas town outside Ibagué, surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery just a short journey away from Bogota. Stay overnight in a peaceful location, before setting off early the next morning to trail through natural paths on a quest to find as many birds as possible. With an illustrated guide as well as your binoculars, you’ll be able to catch sight of as many birds as possible. Spend the day discovering the Combeima Canyon, trekking through dramatic lush landscapes and having lunch surrounded by nature. Be sure to take as many picture postcards photos as possible to remember your encounter with nature and at the end of the tour, head back to Bogota feeling refreshed and peaceful.
