Il programma nel dettaglio

Have a great day out on the volcanic island of Lanzarote, declared part of UNESCO’s Biosphere Reserve system in 1993. The tour will start at Tenerife South airport where you will board a plane to Arrecife. After landing you will have the opportunity to visit Timanfaya National Park, one of Lanzarote’s main attractions, a vast expanse of lava, where you will get to take part in different geothermal experiments and maybe even try a meal cooked by volcanic heat. One of the most relaxing parts of the day will be a camel ride, just before we head to the northern part of the island, after having visited the Laguna Verde, symbiosis of sea and volcano, and an important nature reserve. You’ll also have plenty of time to rest and recharge your batteries over both breakfast and a lunch consisting of typical specialties of the Canary Islands. Lanzarote is particularly well known for its distinctive wines – you will not forget the sight of the vines in the black volcanic soil and will have the chance to try some at a wine tasting at a winery in the area. Jameos del Agua must be one of the most iconic places on the island, designed by Cesar Manrique, Lanzarote’s famous architect and artist, skilfully integrating vegetation and ambient music naturally into a singular landscape. The site is located inside a tunnel produced by molten lava from an eruption of La Corona volcano – the name comes from an inland lake. We will return to Tenerife South Airport at around 19h30.
