Sierra Nevada serves up the farthest south ski resort in Europe which as you can imagine guarantees an absolute abundance of sunny days! Not only that, it boasts the greatest skiable vertical drop in Spain! It is quite literally the highest point in Spain and it is only pipped to the post by The Alps and The Caucasus as being the highest point in the whole of Europe.

You can make your way up the mountains within minutes by using one of the three lifts. There is many an opportunity to snap as many photos as you deem fit as you are taken on a trip of a lifetime. At a staggering 3,482 metres high, this kind of altitude ensures copious snow coverage throughout winter.



Indulge in the natural beauty and watch as the snow melts as you sit back and take it all in. You have the option of watching the sunset or the sunrise from way up high if you fancy it. The possibilities are endless at this ravishing resort!



During summer there are an immense amount of intense and inviting entertainment options at your fingertips. The resort has everything from hiking to sledging, rollercoasters to zip-wires. So even if skiing turns out not to be your forte, you can try your luck at plenty of other adrenaline arousing activities.



If you wind up tired out from all the climbing and skiing, you could take a dip in the heated pool and give your muscles a much needed rest. If that’s not your bag you can get yourself dressed up and dine in style at any of the near-by restaurants.
