This two-hour tour of the main sights of Chicago will give you a quick overview of the best the city has to offer. From Lincoln Park to State Street in central Chicago and Wacker Drive to Michigan Avenue and the Magnificent Mile, this tour traverses the city offering views of the most famous sights available.

Starting with a drive through Chicago’s main business section you will witness one of the financial centres of the world, always bustling with activity. Then tour the renowned ""Loop"" and State Street, the great street where Chicago’s fame began. Next you travel by the striking Richard J. Daley Plaza with its acknowledged masterpiece, the Pablo Picasso sculpture, created specifically for Chicago. Take a ride on Wacker Drive, the multi-levelled thoroughfare that winds its way around the city, and then journey over the Chicago River, which is made to flow backwards by one of the world’s greatest engineering feats.

Be awed by the famous white Wrigley Building that announces the beginning of the Magnificent Mile where Chicago’s most exclusive stores exhibit their wares. You can see Chicago’s elegant seven-level shopping complex, the renowned Water Tower Place, alongside one of the tallest buildings in the world, the John Hancock Center. Travel through Lincoln Park and its thousand acres of greenery, lagoons, flowers, and zoo and then come to Wrigley Field, home of the Cubs (visits not on game days).The Botanical Gardens, Chicago Historical Society, Newberry Reference Library and an Indian Totem Pole are all to be seen along the way. Finally enjoy a well-earned break with a 20-minute stop at the beautiful Lincoln Park Conservatory.





Meeting/pick-up point: Transportation is available from Downtown area hotels only. Guests can opt to join the tour at the main departure point at 17 East Monroe, Arcade Level of Palmer House Hotel, Chicago, IL 60603.
Duration: Approx. two hours.
Start/opening time: Tour is offered at 9.30am and 11.30am from June - September, and 10am and 12noon from October - May.
