Try out a fun new experience during your trip to Florida: Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP), a water sport that is quickly gaining popularity all over the globe. This tour takes you to discover the fascinating history of Winter Park while riding a Stand Up Paddleboard. So take a day off from conventional pass-times and take a picturesque cultural trip. Learn, have fun, get wet and work out while you’re at it.

There’s a variety of Stand Up Paddleboard tours you can choose from. On all of them you are accompanied by knowledgeable experts who will quickly instruct you in the dawning art of SUP. Begin your tour with a very brief land lesson. In no more than 10 minutes you will be ready to hop aboard the paddleboard and set off.

On the Day Tour, paddle your way across the cool waters into the wondrous Winter Park Chain of Lakes. This part of the lake is crisscrossed by a network of century-old canals locals referred to as the Venetian Canals. The Sunset Tour takes you through the same romantic route but transformed under sunset’s magical dye. As darkness envelopes you, some LED lights on your SUP will create a ghostly 5 meter glow around you.

Wekiva Springs Tour takes you from Wekiva Island along to the beautiful Wekiva Springs, one of Florida’s last protected areas. Take a dip in the cool Wekiva Spring before heading back to the ancient Wekiva Island for a hearty meal.

Others:All participants must know how to swim and be 12 years or older to have their own board. Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All children ages 6-11 may ride on the front of their parents/guardians boards as long as they know how to swim.
